Matt Renshaw, one of the Australian batsmen, was taken to a hospital for scans after suffering from some possible injuries. This is a concern for the Australian team as the first Test progresses.


Despite the fall of wickets, India continues to be in a strong position, with Rohit leading the way with an unbeaten 85. Australia would have been hoping for one more wicket before the lunch break, but Kohli came to the crease and managed to weather the storm, surviving till lunch.
